| Breaking News | | Tuesday, September 11th, 2007: SL2's Premier Hitter for 2007 Named
2007's Outstanding Hitter Award has been chosen by the Sub League 2. This season's trophy was awarded to Brad Eldred, the gifted Supreme right fielder.
In 58 games he terrorized SL2 hurlers, finishing up the year with a .294 batting average, 67 hits, 7 home runs, 40 RBIs, .372 OBP and 30 runs scored.
This weekend Eldred will be honored by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner. |
| Wednesday, August 1st, 2007: SL2 Announces Outstanding Batter Award
Brad Eldred, the Supreme Sea Wolves right fielder, certainly made his name known to Sub League 2 hurlers over the last month. He consistently introduced himself with hit after hit and came away with July's Sub League 2 Batter of the Month award.
He slashed and bashed his way to a .296 batting average while tallying up 2 home runs, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He also worked SL2 pitchers for 17 walks and a .390 on-base percentage.
Eldred is hitting .308 so far this season with 28 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 44 hits including 5 home runs, 21 walks and .389 OBP. |
| Monday, July 16th, 2007: SL2 Announces Player of the Week
The Player of the Week has been chosen by the Sub League 2. The award went to Brad Eldred, right fielder of the Supreme Sea Wolves.
In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .409 average to win the honor. Eldred went 9-22 for the week, totaled 2 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 5 times.
So far this season Eldred has hit .351 with 5 home runs, 22 RBIs and and scored 14 times. |
