Saturday, December 15th, 2007: Athletics-Twins Swap: Bynum for Bonser
The Oakland Athletics have finalized a deal with the Minnesota Twins for the services of 26-year old starting pitcher Boof Bonser. In exchange, the Twins will receive 27-year old second baseman Freddie Bynum.

As far as career numbers Bynum has compiled a .253 batting average and collected 257 hits, 19 home runs and 111 RBIs.

In all, Bonser has compiled a 5-3 mark during his career and a 4.82 ERA.
Tuesday, December 11th, 2007: St. Louis and Minnesota Agree to Deal
The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The St. Louis Cardinals sent 25-year old shortstop Brendan Ryan to the Minnesota Twins for 26-year old right fielder Matt Murton.

Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal.



In his career Murton is hitting .294 with a total of 45 home runs.
Monday, November 5th, 2007: Royals-Twins Deal: Teahen for Bartlett
A trade between the Kansas City Royals and the Minnesota Twins was made official this morning. The Kansas City Royals have sent 26-year old right fielder Mark Teahen to the Minnesota Twins in exchange for 28-year old shortstop Jason Bartlett.

In his 311-game career, Teahen has hit at a .273 clip and collected 326 hits with 76 doubles, 12 triples, 24 homers and 145 RBIs.

During his career Bartlett has hit for a .295 average and totaled 381 hits, 9 home runs and 118 RBIs.
