| Breaking News |  | Monday, August 20th, 2007: Week's Best Player - Robinson Township's Ryan
25-year-old Brendan Ryan sent shock waves through MLB Triple A last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Sub League 2 Player of the Week Award.
A newcomer to the league, Ryan made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs and 8 runs batted in.
Where the Robinson Township Sprites shortstop goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Ryan certainly made his mark last week.
Currently Ryan has 6 home runs and a .337 batting average. |
| Sunday, July 1st, 2007: Sub League 2 Names #1 Pitcher in June
When Anthony Reyes takes the hill, he usually takes command of the game, at least that's the way it was in June. The outcome was usually a Robinson Township victory. His fine 4-1 performance copped him the Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month trophy.
The talented Sprites hurler made 5 starts, worked 37 innings, permitted 25 base hits and struck out 35, while putting up a 1.70 ERA.
So far this season Reyes has a 7-7 record with a 2.97 ERA. |

Brian N. Anderson got another reason to celebrate today as he followed up a great month of June at the plate by winning the Sub League 2 Batter of the Month Award.
During the month, the Robinson Township center fielder hit .357 with 7 home runs, 24 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
To date this year Anderson is batting .270 with 9 home runs. |
