Thursday, December 27th, 2007: Toronto Blue Jays and Brewers Agree to Trade
A trade between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Milwaukee Brewers was made official this morning. The Toronto Blue Jays have sent 30-year old catcher A.J. Pierzynski to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for 25-year old reliever Manny Parra.

Pierzynski has hit for a .295 career average and totaled 931 hits, 82 home runs and 471 RBIs.

In his career Parra has rung up a 2-and-0 record with 5 saves and a 2.43 ERA.
Tuesday, December 25th, 2007: Royals-Blue Jays Trade: Johjima for Janssen
The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Kansas City Royals sent 31-year old catcher Kenji Johjima to the Toronto Blue Jays for 26-year old starting pitcher Casey Janssen.

Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal.

In his career stats Johjima has compiled a .269 batting average and collected 257 hits, 31 home runs and 161 RBIs.

Lifetime Janssen has 9 victories and 10 defeats with a 4.46 ERA.

One of the shrewdest businessmen in the game, Ty Wigginton is known to insiders as a calculating manipulator who will say anything to the media to advance his agenda.

Today the third baseman found himself dogged by rumors of a move to Toronto, though he seemed unwilling to indulge the media in its favorite pastime--gossip.
