| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, December 11th, 2007: Seattle-Baltimore Deal: Bloomquist for Smith Officials for the Seattle Mariners confirmed that they have traded 30-year old second baseman Willie Bloomquist and 23-year old minor league reliever Cesar Jimenez to the Baltimore Orioles. In return, the Mariners will receive 28-year old starting pitcher Bud Smith.
In his career Bloomquist has gotten 156 hits with a .309 batting average, scored 76 runs, hit 1 home run and driven in 56.
During his career Smith's won-lost record is 83 wins and 60 losses with a 3.94 ERA.
