His red-hot bat sizzled and scorched Sub League 1 pitching for 13 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 RBIs, while hitting .591 and scoring 7 runs.

He went on a rampage at Lunatics Ballpark and paced the Lunatics to a 25-4 win over the Akron Sturgeons.
After his dynamite batting performance the Aurora third baseman told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book.
T. Watkins walked in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off J. Unknown in the 8th.
This season Watkins has hit at a .294 clip with 42 RBIs, 6 home runs and 67 runs scored. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 59-61, .492 PCT | | Position in Division | 9th, 19.0 GB | | Record at home | 31-29, .517 PCT | | Record on the road | 28-32, .467 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 5-7, .417 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 12-24, .333 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 20-20, .500 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 39-41, .487 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 7-3, .700 PCT | | Record in April | 12-12, .500 PCT | | Record in May | 17-12, .586 PCT | | Record in June | 11-15, .423 PCT | | Record in July | 10-18, .357 PCT | | Record in August | 9-4, .692 PCT |
