Monday, September 17th, 2007: 5-Hits Blitz by Tejada
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Miguel Tejada. It was very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Tejada went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Los Angeles Angels of pitching.

When the dust settled on the diamond at McAfee Coliseum, he had a career 5-6 day and something he will long remember. And the Oakland Athletics had a 12-8 victory over the Anaheim.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he laughed in the SION postgame interview.

M. Tejada singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off B. Donnelly in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.

This year Tejada has hit at a .276 clip with 66 RBIs, 10 home runs and 68 runs scored.
