 | Thursday, December 27th, 2007: Toronto Blue Jays and Brewers Agree to Trade A trade between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Milwaukee Brewers was made official this morning. The Toronto Blue Jays have sent 30-year old catcher A.J. Pierzynski to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for 25-year old reliever Manny Parra. Pierzynski has hit for a .295 career average and totaled 931 hits, 82 home runs and 471 RBIs. In his career Parra has rung up a 2-and-0 record with 5 saves and a 2.43 ERA. |
