 | Tuesday, December 25th, 2007: Royals-Blue Jays Trade: Johjima for Janssen The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Kansas City Royals sent 31-year old catcher Kenji Johjima to the Toronto Blue Jays for 26-year old starting pitcher Casey Janssen. Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal. In his career stats Johjima has compiled a .269 batting average and collected 257 hits, 31 home runs and 161 RBIs. Lifetime Janssen has 9 victories and 10 defeats with a 4.46 ERA. |
