Update 11/17/06 Positive! We are pregnant! Yes again :)
I had a miscarriage last month and was supposed to wait a cycle before trying to concieve again. We weren't being careful
though and I got pregnant on the very next cycle. Because I wasn't charting properly, I am not 100% sure on the due date.
I have confirmed it through blood tests though. At ~19dpo my betas were 598 and at ~21dpo I was at 1874! Everything is
looking good so far. I will not have my first real appointment until after Nick's birthday. Hopefully I will have an
ultrasound then as well. We are not planning on finding out the gender of this baby and possibly won't be revealing the
names either until it's born.
Update 12/04/06 6 week update!
I'm going to try to keep up with my pregnancy better than I have before. I think you will be my last baby and I'm hoping
to journal as much as I can so I can always remember all the feelings related to this special time. I've had few symptoms,
enough to know I'm pregnant though. I was temping for a while but I eventually stopped last week. I've not had the same
breast soreness as with Elly. I've felt a little nauseous though. The nausea was worse with Elly also but it's not over
yet. I've been trying to keep eating a little to settle my stomach or using Gin Gins or suckers also. I've been really
thirsty, especially at night. I've had alot of gas and bloating too. I've already seemed to gain 5lbs. I'm hoping that's
all water weight and I can get it off before my first prenatal visit. I've been tired but that could be due to your sister
not sleeping well. This week I outgrew all of my regular pants and I've moved into maternity pants already. It's much
more comfortable. I've got smell aversions to meats again. But I have reactions to many smells. My teeth are sensitive
to cold and I've upped my vitamin C intake. I sometimes get the pulling sensations in my uterus so I know it's growing
and you along with it.
Update 12/28/06 10 week update-New Due Date is July 26th, 2007!
I had my first prenatal appointment on the 21st. We did an ultrasound so there are pictures below. The heartrate was
170bpm, which was perfect. I did show a weight gain of 7lbs at that appointment! It could still be water weight but I've been
so hungry so it's probably also that. Margaret said since I'm nursing I'll probably carry about 10 extra pounds. The nausea
went away at 8 weeks, just like with Elly. I did throw up twice this time, a first for me. The extreme hunger has
subsided a little bit as well and many of the food aversions are going away. They'll be back though. I've been craving meat
and Margaret said to eat it if I crave it because I need it. I've been considering it. I don't plan to stop being a
vegetarian in the long term though. I have started to feel very tired lately. I expect this to last the next 3 weeks
because the baby is going to double in size during this time and I always get really tired during growth periods. I moved
into maternity clothes in week 6. Well pants at least. Shirts are ok. I want to begin belly shots very soon, although
there is nothing to see at the moment. I'm hoping to feel the slightest of movements in the next 2 weeks!

Update 04/25/07 27th week!
Yikes 4 months since I last updated! What an awful year this has been, but I don't want to ruin the baby's page with
all of that. Let's just say we've been really busy. There's really too much to catch up on but I'll go over the highlights.
We are having a girl! We've decided on Estella Leigha-Marie as her name. The surprise baby concept wasn't working for us :)
She is perfect in every way and we've had two ultrasounds since I last updated. I'll post pictures from both. The second
ultrasound was yesterday and it was a 3D. That was a really great experience. We got lots of still photos and also a
dvd to remember it all. Stella looks so much like Elly as a baby, it's amazing. I'm sure she'll be just as beautiful, but
in her own way of course! Despite everything around us, this pregnancy is really pretty easy so far and I'm not showing
any of the stress in my blood pressure or weight gain. I've gained 12lbs as of week 26. I also passed my GTT with flying
colors although I am anemic this time. I have been eating meat about once a week though on average so apparently I am really
needing the iron. The food aversions haven't been that bad this time but I don't really like Mexican foods at all. Ok,
so I'm going to post a few belly shots and try to catch that up a little bit. I haven't been taking them as regularly as
I did with Elly and of course the u/s pictures.

Update 07/08/07 37th week!
Well we are nearing the end of our pregnancy. I'm feeling relatively comfortable. I am just tired most of the time.
There are 18 days until my due date and I don't expect to go early. She is due on a Thursday so maybe I'll get lucky
she'll come on Wed so I don't have to call Brian out of work. Not much else to report for now. This pregnancy has been
easier in many ways than Elly was. At least she's not constantly lying on my bladder. I'm sure the next update will be
a birth announcement!
