If the pictures look distorted when you view them and you are using Internet Explorer, you should make sure that it is not automatically resizing them to fit the browser. To do this go to Tools, Internet Options, click the Advanced tab, and under Multimedia uncheck the box for Enable Automatic Image Resizing. Then you will be able to view them in their appropriate size without distortion.

11/06/05 Pictures!

Elianna was born on November 1st, 2005 at 9:57pm. She was 7lbs 14oz and 19 inches long. I had a natural water birth and her apgar scores were 9/9. The nurse says she never gives 10's but would have been a 10 in her book. She took to nursing like a pro and had a clean bill of health before discharge. At discharge she was 7lbs 7.2oz. She is a great sleeper and can go about 3-4 hours at a stretch at night if I let her. She does like to be up a little late still but it's been easy to catch up on sleep during the day so far. Nick is the best big brother in the world and is always giving her kisses and telling her he loves her. I've got several pictures of her already, so enjoy!

11/24/05 Happy Thanksgiving!

I've finished Elly's birth announcement, check it out below. More pictures too! She has her 1 month checkup on December 1st.

2 weeks old, first bath

01/03/06 Happy New Year!

I'm way behind on pictures but I'm caught up to the end of 2005. At her one month checkup, Elly was 22 inches long and 10lbs 7.5oz. Elly had her two month appointment today and she was 23 3/4 inches long and 12lbs 7oz. She's in the 95% for height and 90% for weight. In fact I've had to move her to 3/6 month clothes already! She's full of smiles and loves to hear how she's a "pretty girl". Bathtimes are especially fun and she's finally gotten over her hatred of the car and actually sleeps through car rides now (thank goodness!) Two things make her extremely happy... watching hockey and going to the Dr. She loves to lay on the floor and watch the players skate around and really gets excited over goals. And at the Dr's office she loves to make the paper crinkle by wiggling all over.

05/18/06 Elly is crawling!

Elly decided today was the day. She's been wanting to stand for a couple of days but wasn't good about holding on and if she fell it was all the way and would bump her head. Today she decided to take matters into her own hands and pull herself up then she stood there for a long time. She fell a couple of times but landed on her bottom and pulled right back up. Then tonight she began crawling. There's no stopping her now. Baby gates are going up tomorrow.
